The latest WS3 Full CNC uses high tech components that make it possible to carry out high-performance operations.

It is unique of its kind, it has all the advantages of the W series machine tools, enhanced with a CNC head, that allows to perform delicate machining operations:

  • curvilinear profiles with any tips of radius
  • conical machining and any type of chamfers
  • all types of threadings
  • simple and shaped facing > any type of grooving
  • phonographic grooves

Upon request the machine can be supplied with standard equipment for the performance of all the machining operations that are carried out with W Series included overlay welding. W CNC series machine tools are customized. The customer must give details and geometrical specifications in order to allow the technical staff to customize:

  • the positioning equipment and clamping system
  • machine tool strokes
  • tool holder elements

The machine allows you to manage all the boring and CNC precise turning operations. It is particularly suitable for internal machining of housings, fittings , interpolations and threadings that are not visible and not easily accessible by conventional machines.

Its translating and independent head and the type of facilitated zeroing –homing – allow it to perform all the operations that are requested.

It is equipped with clamping systems and supports of various nature and dimensions that allow to adapt the machine to any type of piece that needs to be machined.

By using the feed system and WS repositioning, WS3 CNC DRUGSTER 800  can reach lengths and feed, of considerable importance, along the axis of the machine.

Sir Meccanica’s search , in occasion of the advent of WS CNC series, has developed a new “CNC mini head” for small diameters, it is highly innovative and solid that can get into scarce deep and blind cavities by operating with CNC micrometric precision.

It is managed and monitored by a controller, it works under safety conditions.

It bores, it turns, it threads ....it cuts chips in a precise and delicate  way.

It produces an excellent surface finish thanks to  its homogeneous structure.

The CNC control activates a series of motors and guides, that control and coordinate the movement of the axis of machine, in order to place the tool in the scheduled position at the right moment.

The numeric control used is extremely simple and handy. The basic programming language is in accordance to ISO standards. The 3D graphics of the piece can be instantly zoomed to verify the details.

It has been designed taking into consideration the actual needs of the CNC lathe operators.

Simple and perceptive, with an interactive touch screen display graphics.

It can even be used by personnel with low expertise in programming. The "conversational" programming standard allows for the creation of complicated profiles.

Easy to use. The routes of the tools can be quickly and directly created on the control panel, starting from the coordinates on the drawing.

The CNC has a dynamic graphics for the simulation of the machining on the piece to be worked on.

The CNC interface is simple and intuitive. Besides the possibility to create programs manually, it is also possible to execute files created by sophisticated CAM programs without having to key in any command.

The three modalities FILE, JOG e MDI are fully supported and can be used together. It is possible to open a file and view it, give commands in MDI modality and pass onto the JOG modality without any limits.

A series of windows allow for a correct setting of the machining and for the viewing of the simulation of routes of the tool.
