The KEYWAY MILLING KIT is an accessory which, installed on the TOP series machines, allows milling operations to be carried out on the external surface of any cylindrical body. Most commonly, it is used for the creation of grooves and key seats on wheel hubs or on immovable shafts.

The cut is carried out by the rotation motion of the tool (milling cutter), moved by the two axes of the TOP machine: X (for the cutting depth) and Z (for the milling length). Both movements of the X and Z axes are managed directly from the machine's electronic control panel.
